Obituary of Mary Stroh

Stroh, Mary (Dibblee)~ Peacefully on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Freeport Health Centre of Grand River Hospital. Mary age 87 years of St. Jacobs formerly of Conestogo. Beloved wife of the late Roy Stroh (2006). Dear mother of Carol and Robert Beltrame of Florida, Bev and Gary Kinsey of Trenton, Brenda Merriam of Kitchener, Keith and Janet Stroh of Elmira, and Pamela Stroh of Fenelon Falls. Loving grandmother of Lisa (Tony), Jason (Ailen), Skye, Kyle, Kent, Victoria and great-grandma of Anthony, Francesca and Stevie. Sister-in-law of Sheila Dibblee of Woodstock, New Brunswick. Mary was the last surviving member of her family having been predeceased by her parents George and Caroline Dibblee, sister Maud, brothers Robert and Allan, and grandson Luke. Mary served overseas in World War II and came back from Europe after the war married to Roy and settled in Conestogo. At Mary’s request cremation has taken place. A memorial visitation for family and friends will be held at the Dreisinger Funeral Home, Elmira on Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A memorial service to celebrate Mary’s life will be held at St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church, Conestogo on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Monika Wiesner officiating. In Mary’s memory, donations to St. Matthew’s Lutheran Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy. Service Summary Visitation: Tuesday, March 22, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. ~ Memorial Service: Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 11 a.m. ~ Donations: St. Matthew's Lutheran Church, Conestogo (131 Flax Mill Drive, Conestogo, ON N0B 1N0) or charity of your choice
